Our Future, Our Severn: A Promise, is a fulfillment of a promise we made when Severn became a Preschool through 12th grade school in 2013 in our merger with Chesapeake Academy. While the doors to the George ‘49 and Barbara Cromwell Lower School are opened, your gift will allow us to continue investing in the programs and people that allow our mission to flourish and serve our youngest learners, as well as support the expansion of our Price Auditorium on the Teel campus.
What is Our Future, Our Severn: A Promise Campaign?
Our Future, Our Severn: A Promise, is a fulfillment of a promise we made when Severn became a Preschool through 12th grade school in 2013 in our merger with Chesapeake Academy. For the past decade, we have delivered on our promise to invest in the people and programs that serve our youngest learners. Today, we embark on the second half of our promise to invest in our facilities and provide a state-of-the art Lower School where our mission can flourish.
To that end, we have launched a bold initiative to raise $25 million toward the rebuilding of the Chesapeake Campus, to create an environment where everyone can thrive, and honor the great work of those who teach, coach and mentor our students.
We all have a role to play, and I ask each of you to invest in our campaign— this is our future, our Severn, and our promise to each other.
